PEAK is one of the leading active wear and footwear brands in Asia and the fastest growing basketball footwear company in the world. PEAK has recently opened an office in Los Angeles under PEAK SPORTS USA. PEAK plans to launch products in the U.S. in 2011.

PEAK is a rapidly growing sportswear company in China with a distribution network over 6,000 authorized PEAK retail outlet operators. PEAK has relationships with the NBA, WNBA,CBA, NBA China, and FIBA. PEAK has home stadium sponsorship with approximately 10 NBA teams every year as well as endorsement arrangements with about 12 NBA players at any given time.

PEAK’s chairman, Mr. Xu Jingnan, became involved in the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) business of sports footwear products for various international brands in 1988. Under Mr. Xu Jingnan’s direction, the PEAK brand was created and used to promote sports footwear products beginning in 1989. Now, PEAK has over 6,000 stores in China.

PEAK is ranked third in NBA endorsements. Currently, PEAK endorses 9 NBA players: Ron Artest of the Los Angeles Lakers, Sasha Vujacic of the Los Angeles Lakers, Carl Landry of the Sacramento Kings, Shane Battier of the Houston Rockets, Kyle Lowry of the Houston Rockets, Jason Kidd of the Dallas Mavericks, Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jason Richardson of the Phoenix Suns and Patrick Patterson of the Huston Rockets.

PEAK plans to expand their roster in the next year.


Timeline

1989, the first pair of PEAK shoes was born.

1993, PEAK registered its trademark worldwide.

1995, PEAK’s factory was authenticated by ISO9002.

2005 to 2008, PEAK became the merchandising sponsor to FIBA Europe All-Star Game.

2005, PEAK also started the international strategy. When PEAK hit the international markets, PEAK products were well accepted by all sports consumers.

End of 2005, PEAK established home stadium sponsorship with the NBA Houston Rockets.

September 2006, Shane Battier (former Houston Rockets player) became the first PEAK endorsed player.

November 2007, PEAK became the official marketing partner with NBA China.

August 2008, PEAK signed with NBA player Jason Kidd of the Dallas Mavericks.

2009, PEAK became a strategic partner and proud sponsor of the New Zealand national basketball team.

2009, PEAK went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx Stock code: 1968)

2011, PEAK launched its U.S. headquarters in Los Angeles California.
