All-Star Weekend with Sneaker Statement

This year’s All-Star weekend, PEAK’s first moment featured Dorell Wright of the Golden State Warriors in the Three-Point Shootout Contest. Followed by JaVale McGee of the Washington Wizards in the Slam Dunk Contest, arguably the biggest highlight of the All-Star weekend. Last but not least, celebrity player Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves also delivered great performances in the finale, the All-Star Game, on behalf of the West Conference. PEAK became the first Chinese sports brand in history to be featured in NBA’s All-Star weekend.

During the Slam Dunk Contest, Wizards center JaVale McGee’s stellar performance, featuring his flawless execution of a double dunk and a triple dunk, stunned fans and judges with his awe-inspiring creativity. As he switched shoes before each dunk, McGee caught the attention of celebrity commentator Charles Barkley and stroke some intriguing conversations about his USA x China shoes, aka UNIFY.
